Hi,
I have imported a point cloud file teapot.ply with only verticals coordinates. I tried normal compute for this with "Local Surface Model:triangulation". But CC crash during the computation. I have tried many times and always like this. Do you have any idea? Thanks!

point cloud denoising and smoothing
Hi,
I have a .ply file with only vertices, I know that in CC 'Tools > Clean > Remove noise' can denosing. Is there a tool for point cloud smoothing in CC? Thanks a lot!
Best reagrds,
Pepe

Re: PLY export with the format x y z R G B nx ny nz
and can I transfer the object coordinate system to world coordinate system? In which case I can latter transfer the points coordinates to robot coordinate system. Thanks a lot!

Re: PLY export with the format x y z R G B nx ny nz
Thank you for your reply! By the way, how can I find the coordinate system and its origin of the object? So that I want to transfer the coordinate system to the robot coordinate system, in which case the robot can move along those points.

PLY export with the format x y z R G B nx ny nz
Hi,
I use the cross-section function to extract a subpoint cloud and save it as ply. But the format of the points is X Y Z R G B Nx Ny Nz. But I need the format like this: X Y Z Nx Ny Nz R G B, which means the sequence is Coordinate——Normal——Color. Any way to get it? Thanks a lot!

Re: Point Cloud Slicing and ordering
Then you should extract the contour polyline (either with the 'Section extraction' tool or the 'Cross section' tool). And then export the polylines to 'poly' files, which are actually similar to ASCII point clouds (you'll see each ordered vertex in plain text). Thank you for your advice! I use the ...

Point Cloud Slicing and ordering
Hi, I want to slice my objects(ply file, vertex+normal+color) into several slices and get the points on each slice's contour. I have tried the cross-section function and exported those contour points(coordination + normal + color) to .ply file. The problem is the exported contour points of each slice...
