Hi, I found why it was doing this. I extended the color scale editor window too big so it kind of shrinked the scale. If I down size it a bit, it is all good.
Thanks!

M3C2 limit of detection
Hi, According to what I understand of figure 10 in Lague et. al (2013) (*see ref below), 3 scalar fields should result of the M3C2 pluggin output : level of change detection (LOD) at 95%, significant change and measured change (see attach picture). But in reality, my outputs are: M3C2 distance, dist...

Color scale editor acting different in negative and positive
It may seems like a stupid question, but I've been working on this for more than an hour now and I can't figure out how to solve it. I want to create a color scale that colors the points in white between -0.05(m) to 0.05 and than gradually evolve from blue to purple between -0.05 to -5 and from yell...

How to delete single points that can't be isolated with segmentation tool
I have to clean a rockwall dense cloud to remove the vegetation and the noise. I already did the big job with the segmentation (scisor) and the SOR tools, but there a few random points off the wall that I am not able to isolate (find an angle of view with no other points at the back) to be able to s...

Re: Compute normals parameters
Thanks for the quick reply! I also tested the K nearest neighbours instead of specifying a prefered orientation and it seems to give good results for the entire study site (no matter if it is facing north or west). I however don't really find some detailed documentation on how to chose the good radi...

Compute normals parameters
I want to use the M3C2 pluggin to do some change analysis between two rockwalls in time. Instead of using the Normals parameters directly in the pluggin, I want to compute them before and then "Use cloud #1 normals" in M3C2. This should allow me to compute better normal considering there a...

Distinguish rockwall from vegetation
Hello, I have two Lidar dataset of the same Rockwall (one of 2018 and another of 2022). I need to filter the point clouds in order to keep only the rockwalls (remove vegetation) to compare them and analyse if there has been rockfalls in the las years. I however only have access to a pre-processed da...
