Re: Noise reduction in point cloud
You can look at the cloud from the bottom and use hidden point removal, I have found that useful to get rid of vehicle stripes in roadways.

Mesh or normal compute FLS files
I like the fls import added to CC. It would be nice if CC could mesh the fls files using the scanner location and the fact that they are ordered point clouds. MultiWindow Registration
I'm sorry if this has already been asked I looked and didn't see it in the forumn. When I have multi windows open, one scan in each. Then select alignment it brings them both back into the same window. Is it possible to keep them seperated to make point selections on each easier? Thanks

Re: PTX import problem
They are like 1 gb files so I was thinking size may be an issue, but when I open in 2.5.4 save as bin then open in newer version it works fine. I can email you a download link, what address to send it to?

Re: octree upgrade
It seems similar to retopology functions in modeling software such as mudbox. I'm looking at it from 3d modeling side, ive used the plane fit and was looking at a disecting the point cloud into many connected planes. Thanks looks interesting.
