2.7 and 3D mouse - crashing
Hi, Great job with 2.7, I love how well it is handling huge point clouds - I threw 500 million into it this morning without a problem! However, I find it has crashed a few times when I start using the 3D mouse (a 3DConnexion Spacemouse). No problem when this is disconnected and I use the mouse to na...

Cluster/Aggregate Points
Hi, Is there a function that will allow me to identify 'clusters' of points based on a search radius? For example, I currently have a single point cloud with clusters of points across a surface and large empty spaces between them. I'd like to select all points that fall within 1m of each other and s...

Extracting 95th percentile
Hi all, I am looking to extract the 95th percentile of points based upon their cloud-to-cloud distance (i.e. remove the extreme values). Is there a simple way to do this in CloudCompare that I'm missing. Currently, I'm extracting the histogram and calculating a) 95% of total point number and b) the ...

Closest Neighbour Point Spacing
Hi, I would like to compute a closest neighbour value as an attribute for each point in a single point cloud - is there a tool to do this? If so, could you point me in the right direction. All I can see at the moment is the density tool, which I don't think is able to do what I would like it to. Man...

Transformation Matrix for View-Based Orientation
Hi,
I would like to know whether there is a (preferably straightforward) way to flip/rotate/transform a point cloud based on view. i.e. what is currently the 'set left side view', I would like to be the 'set top view'.
Thanks in advance,
Mark
