Actually the option 'load cloud on GPU for faster display' was already unchecked. I checked it and tested. Everything seems to work very well now!! /like :) I have a suggestion, perhaps could the option "load cloud on GPU for faster display" be also available on the 'render to file' window...

Thank you for the reply. It happens with any 'render to file' parameters. I can choose 'zoom' from 1 up to 10, change 'point size' from default or 1 up to 10, and still happens. I have also unchecked/checked 'don't scale features' and even turned off the 'Render overlay items'. It makes no differenc...
