Hello,
CloudCompare is an excellent software for working with point clouds. However, from my perspective, the only drawback is that the viewer tends to be slow when handling large point clouds.
I wonder if it’s possible to replace the current viewer with the Potree viewer, which is significantly faster. I am not a programmer, so I’m unsure if this can be done, but it would be fantastic to combine the functionalities of CloudCompare with the speed of the desktop version of Potree.
Best regards.
use potree viewer inside cloudcpmpare
Re: use potree viewer inside cloudcpmpare
Well, that would be neat indeed. But there's a technological issue first, and then potree doesn't have all the capabilities CC's editor has ;)
