Daniel please help me with Canupo!

Post by naikjoy1 »

I've been going hard at the idea of making a racing game free roam map with 60km2 of the region I live in.
But I'm still experimenting and trying to write a tutorial for how someone else can do it. This is as far as I came for now.

The issue is that my government did a bad job at the classification and some points of the roofs are the same as the vegetation and then there is this lane of red points.. its all strange. When I extract only the points of the roofs, disregarding the red and green vegetation points.. the roofs end up looking fragmented.

Daniel, could you please help me out?
Do you have any experience with Canupo?
Could you perhaps do this for me? (you get a free copy of the racing game when its released!)

Hum, I may not have the time to try to process this before some time. If it's LAS classification we are speaking about, have you tried LAStools?

When I look at the file you provided, I see that the roofs correspond to the value '6' and they are pretty well classified.
The attachment cc_classif.jpg is no longer available
For the red points (value '12'), they seem to be redundant. Can't you simply remove them? Once I remove them, I get a pretty nice look:

Thank you so much for your reply Daniel!
I will check it out with las tools too..

It may appear that is classified fairly well.. but its not really.. many roofs are missing from that green 6 point thingy and they only appear when the red and other green vegetation is applied. Do you have any suggestions for that? :(
