Unable to apply new color scale other than default one

I want to change my current colour scale but there is no response after I clicked apply button.
It happens either for the preset colour scale and the custom scale I created.

The screenshot is as attached. I wonder what went wrong?

If you want to see a change when you click on Apply, you have to open the "Color Scale Manager" via the gear icon next to the 'current' color scale field in the entity properties.

Otherwise, there's no link between the displayed entity and this dialog. In which case you have to close the dialog, and then manually change the color scale via the same 'current' color scale field in the entity properties.
