I'm looking for recover the installation location of CloudCompare.
I used regedit and searched in:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{4DE0A2C8-03F9-4B3F-BAFC-1D5F2141464B}_is1
and I found InstallLocation key.
But automatically with a script like inno setup,He could not find the indicated path.
So, I made a qt script to go through all the registers in \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\ and wrote them in a text document to see what he found.
So he found a lot of them but in no way the folder {4DE0A2C8-03F9-4B3F-BAFC-1D5F2141464B}_is1
Do you have any idea why the installation of cloudcompare writes in registry, but that this key can only be found manually?
