jumpy/unreponsive interface mac oS

Sorry if this is elswhere, i've not spotted it.

For a long time I've had an issue with the mac (currently mohave), and 2.10.2 where the interface buttons don't always activate on click (they'll 'press' but not function) and drawing lines or the like will leap when I complete the line (making segmenting very frustrating)

it does it both on an imac and and older macbook pro.

I do have wacom tablet, but think i had the issue before installing the driver.

I can live with it a lot of the time, just not when i have some manual cleaning to do.

Sorry I don't have a mac on my side (Andy does but I'm not sure how often he comes here).

Maybe some other macOS users have this issue?

Seems to behave almost as expected if I use a mouse mouse rather than trackpad or pen so that's fine.
