Difference between coordinate Z and minimum height in raterize tool.

Post by ulimaps »

Good day. I have a little question:

When I get a point cloud from the "rasterize" tool and export it to a CSV file, I can see the fields: X, Y, Z, R, G, B, Classification, Height grid values, Min height.
My interest is to obtain the minimum height, and I thought it would have to coincide with Z, but it is not so.
So what do X, Y and Z represent?

Thank you.

It depends on what option you chose for the 'cell height' projection parameter. You should choose 'min height' if you want to see the cloud minimum height in the output grid.
