The Pluraview website says that Cloudcompare supports the 3d monitors. How do I set up Cloud Compare to work with the monitor?

You have to use the 'stereo' version (2.11). Then activate the 'stereo' mode (the last icon of the 'view' toolbar on the left - see https://www.cloudcompare.org/doc/wiki/i ... tereo_mode).

And then choose the 'Generic stereo display' mode (default values should be ok for the Pluraview screen(s)):
