Hello Forum and CloudCompare Team,
I am a very begginer using CloudCompare and i having some issues with the Cross Section and I can't find the solution of that.
Specifically, i have created in Agisoft Metashape two dense clouds, originated from the same source of Data, converted them in the same Coordinate System, export them in .ply format and then import them in CloudCompare.
Afterwards, i used cross section tool, with the same polyline on both of them and the same parameters. The profile results should be identical, for the fact that the two dense clouds are coming from the same source of Data.... but they didn't.
First, i thought maybe went wrong at the convertion of Coordinate Systems, so i repeated it... but i got the same non identical results.. Please, any help it would be really appreciated.
Thank you,
P.S i thought a capture it would be useful..

Re: Difference in Cross Sections from same source of Data
And are the clouds really the same? Can you compute the distances between the two?
