Re: Problems with a single click
It looks like Daniel has updated the downloads page and the new version has the option to disable single click.
Re: Problems with a single click
Chris,
I downloaded the latest and greatest then [Display]>[Display settings]>uncheck [Single click object picking]>[Ok] and now it doesn't swoon if I accidentally do a single click on a point cloud.
I can't tell you what a difference this makes to usability in my use case.
Thanks again...
PS: I was initially thrown when I couldn't see any change is release nomenclature - it still reads "Latest alpha release (2.12.alpha - 20/10/2021)" - but download size has significantly increased - what is the convention here?
PPS: Also what does 20/10/2021 mean?

Re: Problems with a single click
I assume "20/10/2021" is a typo for 02/10/2021
its just MM/DD/YYYY date stamp when Daniel updates the website download, my guess is he missed it today.
the 2.12 Alpha isn't point controlled in the Alpha stage. It becomes more obvious one it is actually released as it will be 2.12.0 then 2.12.1, 2.12.2, etc...
like the note says alpha could eat your lunch :) Daniel just puts out the build regularly because he's a good guy :)
