M3C2 parameters setting

Post by lichengxl »

Hi, Daniel,

Recently I am using M3C2 plugins. In your code of guessing parameters, you are using the normscale and projscale as radiuses directly while they are diameters in the code of computing M3C2 distance. They are not consistent and it may cause problems. Am I right? Look forward to getting your reply. Thank you.

Sorry, that's in my too long todo list ;)

We'll have to dig in the code.

Ok, I finally had the time to look at this seriously. And I believe you were right. The guessed values should have been diameters instead of radii.

I fixed the code.

Thanks for the feedback!
