Inside view of 3d model

Post by Gavin Newman »

I have a 3d Model of a cave chamber created by laser scanning and opened in CC from a .ply file.
I can fly around the outside of the model but I'd like to have an inside view of the model, ie look round the inside of the cave chamber. How can I change the camera position so i can see inside the model?
Thanks

First you'll have to enabled the 'viewer based' perspective mode (either with the "Display > Toggle Viewer Based Perspective" menu, or the corresponding icon in the left toolbar or simply the "F4" key shortcut).

Then either you "navigate" inside the mesh with the mouse, or you use the "Camera parameters" dialog (the camera icon in the left toolbar) to set the right "eye position".
