Is there a way to get Cross Section Curves from Mesh?

Hi everyone,

I created a Mesh from a Point Cloud in CloudCompare. From this Mesh would I like to create Cross Sections the Same Way as you can from a Point Cloud.
In the image below I overlaid the created Mesh and the created Cross Sections (based upon the Point Cloud) as reference.

Is there a way in CloudCompare to create these Cross Sections straight from the Mesh?

Ah no, sadly CloudCompare doesn't extract contours/envelopes from meshes! (since it's a little bit focused on clouds)
