Command line saved clouds not readable in CC

Post by pmr »

Hi:
Thank You for your answer. The new version solved certain problems and generated clouds per inline commands are already readable.
Now I have another problem with inline commands: I want to save the result of -C2C-DIST in a file of my choice. I'm using -AUTO_SAVE OFF at the beginning and -SAVE-CLOUDS FILE filename at the end.
My command: command2=[diretoryCC 'CloudCompare -SILENT -AUTO_SAVE OFF -O ' compnuvem ' -O ' refnuvem ' -C2C_DIST -SAVE_CLOUDS FILE ' output_interm_nuvem3]
Nothing happens. If I do not use -AUTO_SAVE OFF , it works, but an automatic name is assigned to the resulting file and it lands somewhere, making it difficult to process the result further.
What have I made wrong? -MERGE and -FILTER are working fine. Only -C2C_DIST is giving me this problem.
Any help? Thanks
Paula

Do you see any warning/error message in the console?

Maybe it's simply because you have multiple clouds open. In which case you have either to use the 'ALL_AT_ONCE' sub-option, or specify the filename for each cloud (see https://www.cloudcompare.org/doc/wiki/i ... _line_mode).

Thank You so much, Daniel. That was the problem. You have developed a great software and the readiness with which You answer our questions is amazing. Thank You for that, too. Good job!
