Problem with RGB color export in the rasterize tool

Post by Aurel »

Dear all,
I'm working on diachronic comparisons of riverbank point clouds, in the scope of analysing bank erosion and lateral retreat. I used the M3C2 plugin and I would like to convert the M3C2 cloud to a Raster (see image1), including RGB colors.

However, in the "Rasterize" tool, after having defined the grid size and all parameters, the "export RGB colors" option remains locked when clicking on "Raster" (see image2).

Would you have any idea why I cannot activate this option (I've tried many configurations, it's still locked) ?
Thanks in advance.

Do you actually have RGB colors or just a scalar field? If you only have a scalar field (with fake colors), then you must convert it to RGB colors first (with 'Edit > Scalar fields > Convert to RGB').
