Computing average values

Post by Tariqullah »

Hi,

A 10 m long road section is attached. The distance values calculated using the M3C2 tool are contained in this cloud. I exported the same segment as a CSV file.
Is there a tool that can take average values in the longitudinal direction? I refer to the case where I draw a polyline in the direction of the profile and receive the average longitudinal values. thus I could use it to calculate the maximum and minimum distance values.

In the attached file, I've shown my demonstration as a yellow line.

How to get M3c2 as an elevation profile

Post by Moori »

How to compare m3c2 in several scenarios with reference Dense cloud as a height profile as an output file in an open source program?
