Hello,
Some background; I am scanning a plant everyday.
How would I be able to take all the scans and link each scan to animate/display the growth of the plant for presentation purposes?
Would I need to inclue the data points of the pot to orient all the scans?
I am looking to see if cloudcompare will be able to do this.
If it can which tutorials would I need to watch to learn how to do this?
Thank you!
Animation linking multiple scans
Re: Animation linking multiple scans
Hum, are all the scans already in the same coordinate system? Or do you need to register them all first? It's possible with CC, but it may take quite some time. Anyway, I believe it's mandatory.
Then, you won't be able to use the 'Animation' plugin for that. You could generate renderings of each cloud (with 'Display > Render to file') in a controlled way (you can also create a 'Viewport' object - and save it, just in case - so as to be able to restore the same viewport for all clouds. But in the end you'll have to use an external tool to convert this series of captures as an animation...
