MAC M1: extract envelope issues

Version CC 2.13 alpha for Mac M1. The software for Mac seems unable to extract the envelope (flat dimension Z). After processing, only 2 vertices and a line of length 0 is created, regardless the changing of the settings(i.e. edge length). The tool works perfectly on the same point cloud opened with the Windows version. Is there a different procedure to be followed for Mac with M1 processor?
Moreover, the point cloud and poly line created with Windows and saved as bin cannot be opened with the Mac version ("This version of CloudCompare is too old and can't load this file, sorry").
Anybody reported the same issues? Is there a new version in progress to fix these bugs (if these are bugs...)?

Well, the macOS version is older than the current Windows one sadly. Even though I'm a little bit surprised that the files can't be opened by these 2 versions...

And regarding the bug, sadly this macOS version has several similar issues (which might be related to multithreading, we've just started to look at this here: https://github.com/CloudCompare/CloudCo ... ssues/1723 - don't hesitate to add a message there).
