Hi Daniel,
Would it be possible to add the point picking tool in the ccViewer?
Normally we send a small report to our customer with some analysis and conclusions from the scans that we´ve done and together with the report we normally attatch a .bin file together with the ccViewer in order for our customers to check the scan data themselves.
The function I´m looking for now is for our customer to be able to pick a point in the scan and get the value of the applied scalar field in particular. Although I guess that if you implement it, it would be easier to implement the whole tool as it is in CloudCompare.
By the way I really like the simplicity of the ccViewer when sending files to the customers since it minimize the risk of them messing up the files... =)
Thanks in advance!
Best regards,
Kristoffer Hofling

Re: Point picking tool in ccViewer
Hi,
In fact that functionality is already available (but quite hidden): you can spawn a label by clicking on a point while maintaining the SHIFT key pressed (as in CloudCompare by the way).
As you pointed out ccVIewer is meant to be very simpler (so we try to avoid adding icons, etc.).
