Is there anyway to open .zlas files with CC?

It appears to be an "optimized" format of a .las file - "optimized" for ArcGIS.

Is this going to be a future file format?

Ah, that's a closed source format (and a shame, as laz was already existing and open ;). We don't (and cannot) support it.
