Mesh can only be saved as .bin

Hello, I am attempting to save a mesh and after selecting save as the only file format that is available is a .bin. The original point cloud was a PTS and I only have the mesh selected in the DB tree. Any reason why it is not allowing me to save as an OBJ?

Maybe you are selecting the folder including the mesh and not the mesh itself? Or the vertices and not the mesh?
