Paint single point

I want to manually select points from a point cloud and color them in a different color.

I found the "Point picking" tool but it doesn't allow me to paint the point, just display it's information. How do I paint a single point?

There's no direct option to do that.

You can select/segment multiple points with the scissors tool, 'split' the clouds into 2, then change the color of one set (Edit > Colors > Set Unique) and eventually merge back the 2 sets together.

But that only 'works' if you don't have too many operations to do...
