Hi Daniel,
when performing the merging of multiple clouds via command line in CC, it would be highly beneficial to have a switch to generate a scalar indicating the origin of each cloud, referred to as "original cloud index."
This feature would greatly enhance the management and tracking of merged clouds.
Thank you!
Mario
Merging Clouds from command line generate "original cloud index"
Re: Merging Clouds from command line generate "original cloud index"
You mean in the same way as what is possible with the GUI version?
And if yes, how would you handle the case where at least one cloud already has " origin cloud index" scalar field? Or if you run the command multiple times?

Hi Daniel,
Yes, I believe the program should function in the same manner as it does when using the GUI version. In cases where at least one cloud already has an "original cloud index" scalar field, it should simply overwrite the existing scalar field.
Thank you for considering this suggestion.
Best regards,
Mario

Ok, I'll add that to the TODO list. It may take some time before it is implemented though...
