Hello,
Is there a way to clip a point cloud A with the extent of another point cloud B ?
I tried to do this via Menu Tools -> Distances -> Cloud/Cloud dist. but I'm not sure I have this right...

Hi,
Your best guess would be to note down the cloud A bounding-box extents then use the Cross Section tool with the same box. Not very user friendly though...

Yes ! It works using the Cross section tool. To be more precise :
1) Click on the advanced tab
2) In the Edit clipping box, type in the xyz coordinates of the center (this is also very important) AND the bounding box of my reference point cloud B
3) Click on the Slices button -> Export selection as a new cloud
The only small inconvenience is the abnormal width of the Edit clipping box which cannot be resized... otherwise thanks alot, I found my solution !
