Excellent. I was wondering about the function mentioned in this thread that uses actual points from the dataset rather than creating points in the center. I now realize that the 'resample input loud' function does this.

I've found it creates points at the lower left corner, and then I have to translate them up and over. Am I missing something?

If not, can we have an option to choose where the rasterized point gets created (TL, TR, C, BL, BR would be great though I'm only looking for the center)

Well the points should be created in the center in fact. I'll check that again.

EDIT: that's right, the grid wasn't shifted anymore when exported as a cloud. I've fixed that (it will be available in the next release of the beta - I'll try to update this thread then).

Is it possible to enable Resample Point Cloud with Average? I understand that there may not be a point with the average value, but what I want is a point that has the same XY as an existing point near the centre of the cell but with the average Z.

This one is not easy ;).

The best and fastest way would be to hack the code if you are able to do so. Or find someone who can do it for you...
