R interface

Hi,

I believe CloudCompare is an extremely powerful tool.
However, in terms of (more advanced) data processing functionality, I see some room for improvement. One possible idea in this direction would be to interface CloudCompare with R. This would combine two powerful tools for large datasets. Any ideas/plans in this direction?

No plans that I'm aware of ;). I know that some users are using CC in command line mode to interface it with R.

But of course someone with both R and C++ skills (and the motivation) might be interested in undertaking this project. However the issue is always to find this rare individual ;)
