I thought it was some open source library implementing 3D in real time for openGL or something like that.
And which is need by Linux based OS.

I'm on a native desktop Ubuntu 16.04 64bits environment.
I do not use any virtual machine.

Sorry, what I meant is that you are probably not using your driver because we don't know what MESA actually uses - it's an abstraction layer - and you said that it was very slow and the CPU was used anytime you moved the 3D view.
