intel HD Graphics Card

Im looking at new laptop to run CC on probably a Dell Mobile Precision 7710 - has anyone got any comments on the capability of the graphics card this comes with?

Intel® Core i5-6300HQ (Quad Core 2.30GHz, 3.20GHz Turbo, 6MB 45W,
w/Intel HD Graphics 530)

Never expect too much of an Intel card (even though the most recent ones have made big progress, they are far from being fit for working with 3D point clouds). To give you an idea the HD 530 is still far beyond the desktop $60 NVidia GT 730 which is 2 years old...

At least they work with the latest versions of CC (2.7 and 2.8 beta) contrarily to the oldest ones.

P.S. : personally I have an Asus Zenbook, which is very light (1.5 Kg) and has an NVidia 940MX (roughly equivalent to a GT 750). Of course it's more fragile...

Thats very helpful Daniel thanks. The only other option with this Dell is a P580 is that any better?

Yes, much better. I would say Iris Pro is the only acceptable series from Intel.
