Hello,
i would like to ask if i want to cut a part from a mesh is better to sample the mesh and the cut the segment or before sampling, and if i had done sampling will it affect my result .
the issue is that when i cut before sampling the triangles are cut from the line leading areas not intended to be cut are segmented. how can i avoid that

You could maybe segment the mesh with the Cross Section tool? As it makes a proper cut (i.e. the mesh is re-triangulated on the border). But of course it only works for straight cuts.

Otherwise you should indeed sample the mesh before...
