I feel a bit guilty regarding how time consuming debugging this FARO sdk stuff is for Daniel. But who knows when you post one bug that it's going to unravel into a complex mess?
The FARO Scene > CC > Meshlab is a fantastic workflow for getting VERY good colored/textured meshes. I don't know what I would do without CC at this point. I for one, pray that Daniel doesn't give up supporting the FARO compatibility.

Ah! I missed the post with the dataset, sorry.
And yes Faro FLS format is a big pain (especially because of this huge LS SDK). Actually I should try the 'Open' SDK (not sure if it will make things easier).

(at least the 'good' news is that this project fails to load on my side as well :|)

Hi all, I've installed CloudCompare_v2.11.alpha_setup_x64, E1871_FARO_LS_SDK_2019.2.0.3055_Setup, E1865_SCENE_2019.2_Setup_3055. I'm getting the Entry Point Not Found (gdal202.dll) error. Is there a fix for this?

Can you try what I explained here:
https://github.com/CloudCompare/CloudCompare/issues/966?
And then report to me if it changed anything?
