Advanced math on scalar fields

Hi Daniel,
I'd like to suggest, an improvement to the math scalar in which you could :
. design calculations that would use several scalars at the same time, e.g. NEWSF=sin(SF1)*SF2+3*SF3/SF4
. save and reload existing calculations (assuming the scalar names are identical)
You'd ask why ? well for normalization of intensity field, creation of scalars that combined various others, or for more advanced correction (e.g. bathymetric correction), that would be really great (especially if you can reload a specific combination of operations).
I've not really thought of the layout, and I understand the interface would be tricky to develop ! Just an idea.
Cheers
Dimitri
