Point cloud to raster best settings

Good morning everyone,

I'm trying to rasterize a sparse point cloud that I generated thanks to VisualSFM (structure from motion).
I'm working with microrelief surfaces, therefore is important to not loose any detail on micro-scales.



I would like to generate a compatible format for a GISprogram.
What are the best settings to choose? I have no experience about the raster generation process.

Obviously you should use a much smaller step value ;)

And how small you can set it to will depend on your cloud density.. Don't hesitate to make a lot of trials.
