volume unit

Hi all
im using the 2.5 D volume tool.
I need a brief clarification about the unit which express the volume.
My point clouds are scaled in m.
When I compute the volume I get values for Added Volume and Removed Volume.
Are these values expressed in m3 (since the input unit was m)?

Indeed, CloudCompare always expresses the measurements in the same units as the entities ("implicitly", as we don't know what the units are).
