Hi all, new to board...
I have been using Potree to visualise forest data sets. In this Webgl viewer they have an opacity setting between 0-1. It has the ability to create "see through" forests. I cannot seem to find a similar function or plugin with CC. Any suggestionS?
See link to video and stills below. Thanks in advance

Re: Point cloud transparency / opacity
Is the opacity setting read from a scalar field (i.e. different opacity for each cloud) or is it global?
Otherwise, I know that to properly handle opacity, you have to render the points from the back to the front. Potree has a very good octree structure to display the points in such a smart way, but we don't (for various reasons, but the main one is that our octree is designed to accelerate processing, and not display).
