Exporting Point Cloud to .las file -> Output file wrong Coordinates

Hello,
I'm trying to export my Point Cloud file and when I imported the original point cloud, I had the "Preserve Global Shift on Save" checked. Now, when I export my point cloud, it is landing somewhere else and not with the correct geolocation. What I'm I doing wrong? See photo.

Which output format did you use? A few formats don't manage big coordinates and the Global Shift can't be applied at save time (in which case I believe you should see a warning message in the console).

Hi Daniel,
Thank you for getting back to me so quickly!!.. I used the .las and .laz Las Cloud output. I think I figured out why this was happening and it has nothing to do with CloudCompare, or I hope so. So my original coordinates are in feet and when I was importing the .las file generated from CC into Trimble Business Center I noticed a feet to meter scaling on the .las file. So in order for me to fix this, I had to go back into CC and apply a scale factor of 0.3048 and export it again, so when I bring the new .las file into Trimble Business Center it comes out to feet. In a way I tricked the software, don't know if the cause of this is CC or Trimble. Thank you!

Yes that makes sense.
Because LAS/LAZ definitely support large coordinates ;)
