Filling PLY models

Hello, I'm a new user of CC and it's awesome so far! One thing I still don't figure out tho: when importing an OBJ model (wich is obviously empty) would it be possible to fill it, when converting it to a point cloud? Assuming the model has no holes in it, of course. Thanks for your help!
