Hello,
I am trying to open a .las file and I am keep on receiving the following error:
''An error occured while loading: nothing to load''.
The .las file seems to have size as normal.
I also tried to import it in different ways into CC, but it appears to be an empty file,
whereas it seems not to be.
Thank you for your help and have a nice evening,
Kalliopi

Have you tried with the second LAS filter (in the Windows version). You'll have to use the loading dialog, and select the 'LAS 1.3' filter.
Otherwise, can you maybe send me the file? (admin [at] cloudcompare.org)

Hello,
Thanks a lot for your reply.
On Friday while I was trying to open the file via this filter it couldn't work at all.
Today it is written in the console ''load successful'' but there is no point cloud in the window.
I will try to send you the point cloud via email.
Thank you for your time!

Hello there,
I'm also having trouble to import a .las file. The point cloud isn't generate correctly, I have to zoom into the window to see it. I have tried many different settings but still the same.
Many messages error appears as :
Classification values were the same - we ignored them .
Hope someone can help me here, cheers and thank you !

You probably have a scale issue. Typically the Z coordinate is very different from X and Y (which are probably angles?). CC doesn't support non Euclidean projection.

The scaling issue? Where does this bin file come from?
