Noises

Post by kozolins »

Hi!
I have made point cloud from historical satellite images (Corona), but there are different size of "noises" with extreme low height values (because of cloudiness). I tried noise filtering feature, but the result is quite similar to original point cloud and noises still exist. I tried filtering with 15, 30, 50 and 100m radius. Image resolution is 2m. Maybe someone can help?

Could you post a snapshot of your point cloud maybe?

And where is the noise? Can you show the cloud from the side maybe?

Hope you can understand from this - on the right side are negative values.

Hum, I fear the noise is too dense and 'attached to the cloud'...

You could of course remove the points with negative Z easily, but I bet it's not that easy?
