Hello

Im looking for a way to merge a mesh created from drone and point cloud from faro scanner.I have buildin roof made with drone (mesh) and point cloud of builing facade. Both mesh and point cloud are in same system so they overlay very nice. Is this can be done in CC?

In the end, do you expect a mesh or a cloud?

- If you expect a cloud, then you simply have to sample points on the mesh (with Edit > Mesh > Sample points) and then merge the two clouds
- If you expect a mesh, then you will first have to mesh the point cloud and then you can 'merge' the two meshes (however the triangles will just be copied in the same entity, but the vertices won't be 'merged'). Another option is to apply step 1 and then mesh the merged cloud (that will solve this 'merging' issue). And for meshing, the only good option is the Poisson Surface Reconstruction plugin.
