Moving around in CloudCompare

Hi,
I am new to point cloud and CloudCompare and I am currently trying to learn the basics. I have some decent experience with SolidWorks.
One thing I notice is that the point cloud keeps rendering whenever I move the camera around. The method I found to stop this is if i first use the "SOR" command, only then I am able to move the camera around the model without it rendering over and over again. Is there any command or tips and tricks that will help with this problem? The point cloud is relatively big and it takes a lot out of my computer every time i have to render the model.
I also have a question about zooming in. I know that a point cloud is not a 3D model in the same way, but is there any method that enable the possibility to move around inside say a house. Without actually removing the walls and splitting up the points as much. Now when i zoom in everything just becomes unclear and I am not really sure what I am looking out. I would like that when i zoom in, the closes wall just goes away completely, which opens up the view to look behind it if that makes sense?
Any help is much appreciated.
