Translate/Rotate with keys or GUI buttons

Hi,
I've found the current Rotate and Translate features of CC to be very useful, but when working with a large dataset it's hard to rely on just being able to drag the image with a mouse.
It would be nice to have an enhancement like a lot of other drawing editors have where in addition to using mouse to drag a drawing element one can also use the arrow keys. In fact, the sensitivity of the arrow keys are controlled by holding down SHift, Alt, and/or Ctrl keys. However, it would be nice to use these conventiosn for both rotation and translation, so I would imagine a check box or radio button to choose whether rotation or translation is affected by arrow keys.
Also, It would be nice to be able to specify the angle or xyz offsets to rotate or translate, respectively. I know it would seem like the operator would now have too many choices, but different situations demand each of these approaches to affecting a rotation or translation effectively.
Thank you.
