Merging multiple "Trace a polyline" polylines

Hello,

I did some engineering geological mapping of fractures using Trace a polyline tool. I generated over 100 polylines but I can not merge them and export than as .dxf. When I select all of them and click Save it only saves the last polyline in the DB Tree.
Can anyone tell me how to export all polylines into one dxf and keep coordinates of every polyline

Hum, that's weird. Have you properly highlighted all the polylines at once? Or I believe it also works if you select their parent entity (assuming they are all under the same 'group').

And which version of CloudCompare are you using?

Hello,

I draw three "Trace a polyline" and joined them under the same group. Then I tried exporting them in two ways: first click on the Group and Save - dxf and it only shows the last polyline in the DB Tree. Second, I did not join them under the same group but only selected them with SHIFT and Save export as dxf and the same problem occurred. I am using CloudComapre v 2.11.3 (Anoia). Every saved dxf file as the same size of 7 KB which means there is only one polyline saved inside it.
I am sending screenshots.

I couldn't reproduce the issue with version 2.12.beta at least.

I trace 3 polylines, save them to DXF, then load them again:
polylines_dxf.JPG
polylines_dxf.JPG (24.11 KiB) Viewed 2112 times
The file size is 9Kb.

Can you try with version 2.12 if possible? And if you still have the issue, can you maybe share the polylines (as a BIN file) with me? (daniel.girardeau [at] gmail.com)
