Hi I would appreciate if any of you could advise me how I can read a .ply file including text information (e.g. GUIDS of objects, type of object). These would be either a mix of numbers and letters or letters only. Maybe it is possible with the property „[PLY_LIST]“ ? String and uchar didn‘t work for me.

Do you want to read it in CloudCompare (as 'labels') or in your own code?
