Hi, i need to understand what the tool Roughness is able to do. If i luanch this command my surface becomes blue and green. I suppose that CC applys different colorous to the surface according to the value of the Kernel radius.
Is it true ?
Thanks to all

Roughness calculus is very simple (see http://www.cloudcompare.org/doc/wiki/in ... =Roughness).

And indeed, the method computes one 'roughness' value per point (as a 'scalar field') and CC displays this scalar field in false colors (see the bottom part of the 'properties' dialog of the point-cloud holding the scalar field - once selected).
